Michael Youssef is the founding pastor of the non-denominational Evangelical Anglican Church of the Apostles based in Atlanta, Georgia and founder of the international preaching ministry, Leading the Way, which he also hosts.

Youssef was born in Assuit, Egypt. The Youssef's came to America in 1977, and in 1978 Michael received a master's degree in theology at Fuller Theological Seminary in California and a Ph.D. from Emory University in social anthropology. Michael served for nearly ten years with the Haggai Institute, traveling around the world more than 32 times, teaching courses in evangelism and church leadership to church leaders.

He founded The Church of The Apostles in 1987 with fewer than 40 adults with the mission to "Equip the Saints and Seek the Lost." The church has since grown to a congregation of over 3000. This church on a hill was the launching pad for Leading the Way's international ministry. He preaches, teaches and exhorts with a straightforward and uncompromising delivery, based on the authority of the inspired, infallible Word of God. His unique, firsthand understanding of the Holy Land, its history and culture, brings the Bible to life for listeners.

When our children see us clinging to the promises of God, they will grow up trusting in His goodness. If we fail as adults in praying for and praying with the next generation, then they will become spiritually unsure.

The power of the Holy Spirit is completely opposite to the world's power. The power of the Holy Spirit gives God's children the ability to serve His purpose for our lives.     Topics: Prayer

God wants to see prayers that are filled with genuine praise and thanksgiving for what He has done in the past. He wants our hearts to be filled with awe and gratitude for His blessings. He wants us to set up memorials in our hearts testifying to the provisions He has given us.

    Topics: Prayer, Thankfulness

We do not fool Him by saying we want something for His glory when secretly our motivations are selfish. We do not fool Him by saying we believe He can work miracles when inwardly we doubt He will follow through.

    Topics: Selfishness

Whenever God calls us to a task, He will equip us and enable us to complete that task.

    Topics: Service

When God gives us a plan, He will only give us the best plans that lead to the greatest glory for Him.

Only in the Cross of Christ will we receive power when we are powerless. We will find strength when we are weak. We will experience hope when our situation is hopeless. Only in the Cross is there peace for our troubled hearts.
